Partecipating Nations

Italy as organizing nation and Russia as actual European Champion are automatically qualified for partecipation at the EC Final Round in Bolzano an Merano. The further ten teams were determined in EC-final round qualification tournaments, which took place the last few weeks. France, Hungary, Germany, Yugoslavia, Croatia, Sweden, Spain, Czech Republic, Fyro Macedonia and Lithuania were able to qualify.
