CERVAR (ITA): QUALITY AND EXPERIENCE WERE THE DECIDERS
Both techicians, Zivkovic (Yug) and Cervar, (Ita) agree that Yugoslavia merited the victory. :"We started well - the Yugoslavian coach says then our performance declined just before the end of the first half. When the Italians started catching up, my players began to play seriously, as they are well capable of, and, using the defence 6-0, we started to lead again. Anyhow, Italy has made great progress. "What is Yugoslavia’s minimum aim? "The semifinals, we hope to get a medal. "Yugoslavia merited to win because they played better - claims the Italian coach and they justified their position as favourites. My players were in awe of the Yugoslavians, that is why at times they were not very concentrated and made too many mistakes. Compliments, however, also to my Italy." What are your outlooks on tomorrow’s match with Germany? "Tomorrow is another day, tomorrow Italy will be more relaxed."
