"Of course the result isn`t positive and of course I can´t be pleased about the only point we have collected so far, but I am proud of my players. What happened to Richardson and Gille? Richardson hurt his knee, Gille his ankle. These things happen, there is nothing you can do about it."

" Today we played better in attack than yesterday; I am pleased because we won two difficult matches against Germany and France. Here we have the best handball teams of the world and the European Federation should therefore choose the best referees: the umpires today were good , but I didn`t like yesterday´s.
