Everything is all right with the Croatian team, who leads group B together with Spain and Russia. Today they will prepare in a last training session for tomorrow’s difficult match against Russia.
No news coming from the Russian team. It seems that they have already forgotten the little slip-up against Macedonia. Serguei Pogorelov suffers from some knee problems and had to have a check-up at the hospital of Bolzano. The injury is not too serious, though.
The team of the Czech Republic went on a trip to Avelengo today. In the afternoon, they will go shopping in town and then relax in the sauna. Player Suma will probably not play at this European Championship anymore. The Czech player got injured at his left thumb in the first game of the championship. Tancos is likely to play tomorrow. He supposedly has overcome his backache.
After yesterday’s defeat against Russia, the moral in the Hungarian team is low. The Spanish team, on the other hand, is in a very good mood: this morning both players and officials celebrated the 30th birthday of Talant Djushebaew, the world’s best player. Mariano Ortega Martinez is feeling better now. He suffered form a renal inflammation. The Spanish team is now looking forward to the match against Macedonia tomorrow.
