The number of spectators is rising: 48.350 on the first four days of play
48.350 spectators witnessed the 24 matches of the first four days of the
European Handball Championships held in Bolzano and Merano: on average there
were 2.141 people per match. In total 35.350 spectators were present at the 12
matches in the Palaonda, the match between Italy-Germany being the most followed
match with 5.600 spectators. 13.000 people participated at the matches in the
Meranarena: the match of yestereday evening between Germany-France in the
Meranarena was completely sold out (4.300 people). From the third to the fourth
day the average number of the spectators increased by 51 people.
