It was a match which looks towards the future. I sent a very young team on court, so that they would gain more confidence in themselves. It was a deserved victory as the Croatians werenīt very motivated. My players played well during the first half, whereas in the second half there was a good reaction from the Croatians. I am happy France left a positive impression in this manifestation.

In a match which didnīt count very much the umpires should have been more just. However, I am pleased with my teamīs attacking game. In this tournament we never scored 28 goals, but our goalkeepers didnīt manage to hold many goals and this cost us our victory.
