Immediately after the end of the qualification games, the draw
of the two groups of competitors in the European Championship
will take place. The twelve qualified teams will be divided into
two groups of six teams each. Only the two best teams of each
group qualify for the semi-finals. The draw will take place on
Saturday, 6. December, probably in the "Kursaal" in
Meran. The European and World Champion Russia will be the leading
team of one group; the leader of the second group will be chosen
among the other qualified teams.
